Seth Kahan heads up Visionary Leadership and is an executive strategy consultant and author. He works directly with CEOs on large scale change and innovation initiatives. He is well known for his work conceiving, designing and executing Grand Challenges, big and bold goals that attack socially intractable problems by developing systemic alliances with multiple organizations and activists. He has worked with Royal Dutch Shell, World Bank, the Peace Corps, and many other organizations including over 100 professional societies and trade associations. Seth is a member of the American Geophysical Union and served on its board for two terms in a public position. He has also served on the board of directors for The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind and the Council of Better Business Bureaus. In all board positions he served as an expert on organizational strategy and innovation. His first book, Getting Change Right, was a Washington Post and Denver Post bestseller. His subsequent books include Getting Innovation Right and Visionary Leadership. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife, daughter, and German Shepherd. Seth enjoys solo wilderness camping.
